Connect to the Internet and take a look at various companies' home pages. If your own company has a home page, compare it to the competition's home pages. Ask yourself these questions about the pages:
- Does the page come up quickly or is it bogged down with too many graphics?
- Is the page interesting to read?
- Do you know anything about the company, services, or products after reading the available information?
- If applicable, has access to the database been easy?
- Do there appear to be any security mechanisms on the Web page? Can a login be entered to access data that may be stored in a database?
