Visio Pioneer Chris Roth to Offer Visio Best Practices for D-Tools SI Users
D-Tools, Inc., the worldwide leader in system integration software, today announced that Chris Roth, founder of the Visio Guy website and worldwide Visio resource, will be contributing a series of articles for the D-Tools monthly newsletter. The articles will address Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Visio users and revolve around fundamentals and best practices. The first article will be featured in the D-Tools March newsletter, which comes out Wednesday March 19th.
Chris Roth worked at the Visio Corporation for 8 years as a developer and a technology evangelist. Chris has been consulting with D-Tools since 1999, where he was an original member of the Visio team and created some of the early versions of the D-Tools rack shapes, schematic shapes, Mid-Atlantic shapes, and Cinema Tech home theater chairs. Additionally, in 2006 he assisted in the facilitation of the D-Tools SI5 development effort, developing more sophisticated versions of the schematic shapes, as well as tools for creating the next generation of Visio content for D-Tools new version of software.
In September of 2006, he launched his own Visio website, Visio Guy, (http://www.visguy.com) which is packed with helpful articles and downloads for the Visio community. In the coming months, he’ll be writing articles and creating demos to help D-Tools customers get the most out of the drawing capabilities of Visio, as well as introduce D-Tools to his Visio Guy audience.
