Visio 2007: New AutoConnect Options

In Visio 2007 there are three options to automatically connect shapes in your diagram and space them evenly.

If you've already added a shape in Visio 2007, you can hover another shape over its edge where there are blue AutoConnect arrows.  Dropping the shape on an arrow connects the shape automatically and spaces it evenly with other shapes.  You can also select a shape in the Shapes panel (in a stencil) and click the blue AutoConnect arrow on a shape in the diagram to add the shape from the stencil and autoconnect it.  Finally, if two shapes are already in the diagram and they are the closest to each other proximity, you can click the autoconnect arrow of one to immediately connect it to the nearest shape in the diagram.
