Jeff Prosise makes his living programming the Microsoft .NET Framework and teaching others how to do the same. A former mechanical engineer who began writing software for PCs in 1983, Jeff has since written nine books and countless magazine articles on computers and computer programming, including the award-winning Programming Windows with MFC, Second Edition (Microsoft Press, 1999); he currently also serves as a contributing editor to MSDN Magazine. In 2000, Jeff cofounded Wintellect, a software consulting and education firm based in Knoxville, Tennessee. After nearly two decades in the business, Jeff has developed a reputation for making complex technical topics understandable to developers of all skill levels.
