Dennis R. Jones

Neil Randall( nrandall@watarts.uwaterloo.ca) has written or coauthored a wide range of books on Internet topics. He is a frequent contributor to PC Magazine, Computer Shopper, and ZDNet, and has published hundreds of articles and reviews in many computer magazines over the past sixteen years. He teaches multimedia design and critique, as well as the analysis of computer interfaces, as a professor at the University of Waterloo in Canada.

Dennis Jones has taught computer courses at adult-education and college level, and has been a professional writer for over twenty years. In non-fiction, he is author of How to Do Everything with the Internet and has contributed to several other books related to Windows and the Internet, including Que's Platinum Edition Using Windows 98 and Using HTML 4. In his fiction career he has written eleven internationally published novels. His two recent fantasy works, The Stone and the Maiden and The Mask and the Sorceress, were published in the United States and Canada by HarperCollins. Dennis lives with his wife Sandi in a log farmhouse near Ottawa, in Canada.

Paul Colligan (colligan@email.com) is the Director of Internet Technologies at Rubicon International, a management consulting firm in Portland, Oregon. He is also the Webmaster of FrontPage World, the Internet's most popular online resource for Microsoft FrontPage and web development issues. Mr. Colligan is a popular writer and presenter on Internet technology topics and frequently speaks online, on the air, and before audiences about his passions. He has presented at events around the country that include Internet World, Linux World, Commission Junction University, and Tech-Ed. Mark Fitzpatrick is a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) who specializes in Microsoft Internet technologies and products such as FrontPage, Active Server Pages, .NET, and Internet Information Services. When he isn't writing, Mark can be found working as Chief Information Officer for SMARTER Online (http://www.smarteronline.com) designing online continuing education systems or as VP of Software Architecture for the Inner Reach Corporation, an online healthcare company. John Jay Kottler (jkottler@erols.com) has been programming for 15 years and has spent the past seven years developing applications for the Windows platform. He has also been programming multimedia applications and developing for the Web for the past three years. His knowledge includes C/C++, Visual Basic, multimedia, digital video production, and Internet development. Jay has published several computer articles and has written or contributed to numerous Sams books, including DHTML Unleashed, Visual InterDev Unleashed, Web Page Wizardry, Web Publishing Unleashed, Netscape Unleashed, Presenting ActiveX, and Programming Windows 95 Unleashed. A graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in computer science, he enjoys inline skating, cycling, and playing digital music in his spare time.

Kelly Murdock works professionally as a manager of a web development group. On the side, he writes Web and graphics computer books and has been involved in too many projects to number, including 3ds max R4 Bible, Illustrator 9 Bible, Master HTML Visually, and HTML 4 Unleashed.
