Per Kroll

Per Kroll is a director at Rational Software Corporation, where he's responsible for the development and management of the Rational Unified Process. Mr. Kroll has fifteen years of software development experience, working as a trainer, mentor, and consultant on RUP and its predecessors for nine years. He also certifies partners and trains Rational staff in delivering services around the RUP.

Philippe Kruchten is the lead architect of the Rational Unified Process. Mr. Kruchten has more than twenty-seven years of experience in the development of large software-intensive systems for telecommunications, defense, aerospace, transportation, and software-development tools. He also is the author of The Rational Unified Process, An Introduction (Addison-Wesley), which has been translated into seven languages and sold more than 150,000 copies in its two editions.

Bruce MacIsaac

Per Kroll manages the development of IBM's commercial methods, RUP and IBM Rational SUMMIT Ascendant. He is a key driver of IBM's internal software improvement efforts.

Bruce MacIsaac is technical lead for the RUP content development team at IBM and has created or overseen the creation of much of the content in the RUP product. Bruce has many years of experience as a software developer and manager of software teams.
