Bruce Potter

Bruce Potter, Senior Software Security Analyst at Cigital, Inc., started The Shmoo Group, an ad-hoc group of security and cryptography professionals. He has spoken at the Black Hat and DefCon conferences. Preston Norvell, founder of MacSecurity.org, an organization specializing in Mac OS security, is a Project and Security Engineer for Mercury Data Group. A core member of the Shmoo Group, Brian Wotring is a software engineer for Cisco Systems, developing VPN client software primarily for Mac OS X. Currently, Wotring is lead designer/developer for Osiris, an intrusion detection and file integrity app.

Brian Wotring

Brian Wotring is an independent software engineer and founder of knowngoods.org, an online database of file signatures. He is also the author of Osiris, a host integrity management application. An active member of The Shmoo Group, Brian has authored and ported many security related applications to Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server.
