Adding logos to objects such as mugs, jars, and banners for mockup is a common task. In fact, it’s the only reason some users own Illustrator. In this chapter you will learn to use Illustrator’s Envelope Distort and mesh tools to brand common promotional items, including a travel mug, angled snack jar, and a lanyard, whose shape and slogan we will wave, twist, and shade into near photo-realism.
