Every year, Research In Motion gathers its developer community for the annual BlackBerry® Developer Conference. Only two conferences have been held to date; previously, BlackBerry developer content was worked into the other topics at RIM's Wireless Enterprise Symposium in Orlando, Florida. With the BlackBerry developer community growing at an amazing pace, however, RIM has rightfully decided to make the BlackBerry gathering a separate event, moving it out to the San Francisco area.

In this article, I'll dig into recent announcements made by RIM, highlighting what these changes will mean to the everyday BlackBerry developer.
